The purpose of this lesson is to educate on ISU's social media guidelines and expectations for university accounts. When used appropriately, social media can be an effective and efficient means of communication. Improper use, however, can lead to significant issues or complications for the university, for university perception, and for all individuals involved, those included in the post and those posting.
Lesson Objectives:
1. Recognize the social media guidelines and expectations for university accounts.
2. Identify the correct process and guidelines related to university social media accounts.
3. Apply the guidelines and expectations to all the related university departments and offices using the Indiana State University name in social media account administration.
4. Distinguish the correct form of social media posts and apply best practices.
